The metal stakes of your signs are not accepted in DC’s curbside recycling program. This is due to their potential to tangle with recycling equipment. We’ve confirmed that with DPW and DOEE.

The plastic portion of yard signs can be made from various types of plastic, not all of which are recyclable curbside. To simplify the process, we’ll sort and recycle these signs for you.

Cardboard signs can be recycled at home.
